10. 2 Chainz (feat. YG & Offset) – PROUD
This one from 2 Chainz used to be my JAM. One thing I need to say about this video though is YG’s mum definitely looks like she can drop a rap album lol.
9. Randolph (feat. KSI) – Slow Motion
When I first heard this, this was on straight repeat for daaayyssssss. I just love the whole vibe of the song and the video is so trippy (it’s better to watch it when you’re high).
8. 6ix9ine – Gotti
This is a totally different vibe from the traditional 6ix9ine tracks that have come out, but to be honest I prefer this over any of them. I’ve explained before about the “spaceship vibes” and that’s what this beat gives me. It just sends me to another place.
7. 6ix9ine (feat. DJ SpinKing) – Tati
This song is just straight energy. I heard the preview when he put it up on his Instagram and I knew it was going to be a hit and here we are now with another one *DJ Khaled voice* from 6ix9ine.
6. Big Shaq – Man Don’t Dance
This video is too jokes and there was some things I was going to take from the wedding and implement it in my own (but I’m never going to find anyone really so…). The song is also a vibe as well, it’ll be interesting to see how far Big Shaq goes.
5. XXXTENTACION – SAD!
5. XXXTENTACION – Moonlight
I got these two from X at the same rank. I think it’s kind of sad he’s dead because you could see he was trying to change his life bettering as a person so it’s such a shame, added to the fact he was only 20 years old. I’m not going to act like I listened to X like that (because I didn’t), but from what I heard this are the two songs I do enjoy and I’ve been playing it more recently because of his death recently.
4. Stefflon Don – Senseless
Not going to lie I’ve been avoiding this song. Not because I hate Steff, but because I didn’t feel like listening to it in the first place. But of course one day I didn’t keep up with the autoplay on YouTube and it finally played and this tune is a bop! It just has that good island vibes and something sonically pleasing to listen to.
3. A$AP Rocky (feat. Skepta) – Praise The Lord (Da Shine)
Heard this on twitter, fell in love with it straight away. I have nothing more to say on the matter lol.
2. Jaden Smith (feat. Christian Rich) – GHOST
This would have been number one because of how much I love Jaden Smith, but the top song is too much of a jam to me for it to be knocked down lol. I love the way Jaden structures his bars, and the way he flows on the beat is very intricate and unique (to me anyway). Also these oriental trap beats are dangerous if they’re done properly and this is another example of that.
1. Tyga – Taste
I’ve always rooted for Tyga and the number one song just had to be this one. Did you know I replayed this song continuously on my flight all the way to Florida and I’m being dead serious. Even though it’s one of those “shit lyrics songs,” I swear I don’t think I will ever get bored of it lol. The beat is so different, Offset on this song is so live, and hopefully Tyga can REALLY push on from this and keep doing his thing.
