In light of National Suicide Prevention Week I think it’s important to shed light and to acknowledge depression and knowing it can be a lot closer to home than you think. Even the slightest compassion towards someone can go a long way and it’s even something I need to work on myself. Just checking up on people and letting them know that they’re valued by someone (even if it’s little old me). For anyone going through something right now just know IT WILL PASS! and that pain is only temporary, and through it you will find brighter days trust me, I speak from personal experience which is still on going, but I’m in a whole better place now.
