Back so soon? Yeah I know it’s surprising for me as well. Next up is a requested person called Matt D’Avella. I’m not going to lie I didn’t know who he was at first, but after searching his name on YouTube, I remember watching his video on meditating one hour every day for 30 days.
(you can watch the video here).
It’s the only video I’ve watched of him, but he seems like a Kool dude. Before writing this I had to do a little FBI work, and not only did I quite enjoy the types of videos he makes, I also found out he’s a minimalist. For those people who do not know what a minimalist is: it’s a person who lives a simple, clutter-free life. Letting go of the need to own possessions (unnecessary expenses) to add value to their life. Happy to live a life based on experiences than worldly possessions.
That kind of lifestyle seems daunting, but is it? I think I’m quite a minimalist myself, but I still do have a few “unnecessary possessions,” so he’s actually living that life to the fullest. I’ve even thought about this myself because we as humans don’t need most of the things we have, and some of these possessions affect our happiness or general wellbeing.
Flicking through his videos though I came to the realisation is his definition of “success” is just being completely at peace with his mind, body, and soul.
Just happy through LIVING.
His YouTube channel (Matt D’Avella) pretty much gives us his way of life on the regular (ad-free might I add), so me trying to find random videos on “this interview” or “that speech” is pretty pointless.
Although, here’s a video explaining the 12 habits he takes on in his life, and hopefully it’ll do something for you. I definitely recommend subscribing to his channel and watching his videos. There’s just something about him that just makes you gravitate towards him.
But enough of me talking. Here’s the link to Matt D’Avella’s 12 habits for life. If you have any recommendations, please feel free to add them in the comments.
